This research project aims to break new linguistic ground by examining, both in terms of empirically typological rigour and theoretical precision, the categorial status of adjectives.

In brief, we aim to understand the morpho-syntactic nature of the adjectival category in every single human language.

A productive start

We’ve barely started our project and we have already submitted two conference papers for review. Watch this space more updates …
